Request to join, or host your own
Browse dinners near you, request a seat — share any allergies or drink preferences so your host isn't guessing — and the host takes it from there. Or set the table yourself — pick a date, a theme, a few things to bring, add your own question if there's something specific you want to know about your guests, and open it up to your circle.
Show up, and see who sticks
Good dinners turn into good friendships. After you meet someone you click with, we make it easy to stay connected — and if the same group keeps showing up for each other, that's the start of something more lasting.
New here with no connections yet? Invite a couple of people you already know by phone — once they join, you're connected right away, no shared dinner required. That's your starting circle.

Connection transparency
Every request shows you the connection — you'll always know how someone found their way to your table. Once you're approved, you'll see exactly who else is coming, before the night arrives.
Verified identity
Real people, not profiles. Gatherhoods never stores a password for your account — signing in uses a one-time code sent to your email. You can optionally add a second sign-in step (an authenticator app or a text message code) for extra protection, or use a passkey as an alternative to the emailed code entirely.
Human support
A real person to talk to, not just a report button, if something ever feels off.
Fair, private feedback
After each dinner, hosts and guests each leave a quick private rating — neither side sees the other's until both are in, so no one's rating out of spite for what they got. It's there to help you decide who to trust next time, not to turn anyone into a public score.
